Refund Policy
Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms for review sessions.
Effective date: 1 January 2025
Overview
This policy covers refunds for dormant wallet review sessions, seed phrase verification audits, and annual hold planning consultations booked through Desktopsummitpath Co., Ltd.
Deposit and payment
Remote sessions require a 30% deposit at booking. In-person sessions are paid in full at the office unless otherwise agreed in writing. Deposits are applied to the session fee.
Full refund eligibility
You receive a full refund (including deposit) when:
- You cancel more than 48 hours before the scheduled session start time
- We cancel the session due to reviewer illness or office closure
- We are unable to reschedule within 14 days of your original date and you decline the offered alternatives
Partial refund eligibility
A 50% refund applies when:
- You cancel between 24 and 48 hours before the session
- You reschedule more than twice for the same booking (third reschedule forfeits 50% of deposit)
Non-refundable items
The following are not refundable:
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice
- No-shows without prior contact
- Sessions where work has begun (checklist stages completed) and you choose to end early
- Materials already printed and shipped for remote sessions (₩15,000 materials fee)
- Expedited scheduling surcharges when the session proceeds as booked
Rescheduling
One free reschedule is permitted if requested more than 48 hours in advance. Additional reschedules may incur a ₩30,000 administrative fee.
Refund process
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method. Bank transfer refunds require you to confirm account details by email.
Cancellation by us
If we must cancel, we offer priority rescheduling or a full refund at your choice. We are not liable for travel costs you incurred, but we will make reasonable efforts to notify you as early as possible.
Work already started
If a session is interrupted due to circumstances beyond either party’s control (power outage, internet failure during remote sessions), we offer a complimentary 30-minute continuation within 30 days. No refund applies if continuation is accepted.
Disputes
Contact hello@desktopsummitpath.click before initiating a chargeback. We aim to resolve concerns within five business days.
